2 Years ago today, we arrived at what would become the start of Wild Wanderers. We left behind a very different life in Surrey, with three kids in tow, and set off on the adventure of a lifetime; equal parts scared, anxious, excited, and completely overwhelmed. 🫣

I’m still not sure who was more terrified at first, us or the sheep and ducks, suddenly faced with their new (and very inexperienced) caregivers!

The past two years have been a rollercoaster, filled with highs and lows. We’ve faced the heartbreak of losing animals, the challenge of being far from friends, and the joy of celebrating small wins along the way. We are learning, developing and building the dream.

But the biggest thing of all? I still catch myself thinking, we really did this. We own this piece of tranquil heaven and that feeling never gets old.

It’s hard to describe, but from the moment we first wandered around to today, it is so much more than just a place, it’s a feeling that needs to be experienced and, a wonderful one at that.
