We got very close to two grazing deer today until our nosey parker cows came to the gate and scared them off! The poor Herdwicks are feeling the heat. Not long now until they can be sheared 🐑 .

Great to have our little friends the House Martin’s back. Unfortunately they are on the red endangered list due to loss of habitat and global warming! According to the RSPB sadly a 57% decline between 1969 and 2018! We feel very privileged to have 5 nesting pairs here this year, despite all their droppings on our garden furniture 🙆 ps make sure your sound is on to hear their chatter!

We had a beautiful 🌈 over the farm today
