Superb pizza from Ganache in Holsworthy last night, found a local gem , highly recommend. Easy to order online and collect or just turn up. The Pepperoni & the Beef Brisket were spot on, and the Nutella calzone oozing chocolatey wonderfulness😊- will definitely recommend to all our guests.

Camellia ‘Yuletide’ looking splendid on this frosty morning. And lots of life sprouting up in the Orchard, can’t wait to see what that area will look like. Dexter was more interested in getting back to his warm bed this morning than walking around the garden, as was I, but a lust if jobs to be done😊

Found another little hidden gem in the grounds this morning, this lovely old bench may not be usable but it’s definitely staying put. Also discovered another Hedgehog House, think I’ve found 3, but no sign of the Hedgehogs, hope they return 🦔🦔

Crisp and frosty morning walk around the gardens. Thank you to the Liddell & Rhoades Christmas guests, it was a pleasure to meet you all, and grateful for your continued support . They have racked up an amazing 11yrs & 7 years on the trot staying in Hendra - looking forward to seeing you all in Dec 25. So we seemed to have ticked all the boxes and everyone was very happy with my decorations - tiny bit of pressure 🤩

And a big welcome to Dexter, our new gorgeous Labrador. We’ve had him two weeks, and, well yes puppy life is exhausting but fun packed. Looking forward to Dexter meeting lots of our doggy visitor friends at Tamar Valley Cottages . He looks tiny next to the front door🥰☺️

And so our new adventure begins. We got the keys on Tuesday, it’s been a little hectic, but in a good and productive way. Woken up to a glorious sunrise and sunshine today, already to move our stuff from storage in today - havn’t seen most of this for months.
We are so excited to take on Tamar Valley Cottages, and cannot wait for to meet our new and old guests.
I will be posting lots of random exciting things that we find in the grounds/property- so bear with.

𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓:

Dear friends, followers, and guests,

With some sorrow (but a lot of pride) I must announce that I have sold Tamar Valley Cottages.

It has been such a delight to host your holidays in this precious part of the world, but the time has come for me to move on, slow down, and finally pass over the reins.

The new owners, Andrew and Angela, will continue to operate the cottages and will of course honour any existing bookings. They will be taking over as of Tuesday 29th October 2024.

It has been a truly wonderful journey and I will always treasure the time I've spent here in the Tamar Valley. As you know, these cottages have been a labour of love for me, supported by my hard-working team, so this was no easy decision to make.

I can't tell you how much I have appreciated your support and loyalty over the years. I will miss you all, and of course this beautiful house and gardens. Thank you one and all!
