Frog serenade for all you romantic nature lovers
Here at Beer Mill Farm in the north west corner of Devon, on the border with Cornwall, the frogs tend to spawn early and this year has been no exception - here they all are, singing a romantic chorus for you on the eve of Valentines Day β€

We all see grey squirrels on a regular basis, but do you ever stop and watch them? They may be hiding their break dancing skills in the woods! They also help us with tree planting, so although their reputation is not great and they are not a native species, they do have their fun side #wildlife #squirrels #breakdance #secretwildlife
Red deer running as the stags begin to gather
Red deer are the largest native wild land mammal in the UK but they are surprisingly good at hiding, however at this time of year they are gathering for the annual rutting season and we can often catch sight of them if we stay quiet and down wind..... will you spot them out on Beer Mill Nature Trails?

Roe deer with fawn/kid
More new arrivals at Beer Mill Farm Conservation Project. This video is two clips taken a day apart and shows a mother roe deer leading her young kids into the undergrowth to find them a nice safe hiding spot. It is possible it is the same animals in both clips but twins are common in roe deer so it could also be two different offspring.
Fox cubs
One of the wildlife families living at Beer Mill Farm has had some very special new arrivals recently, and we have been lucky enough to catch them on one of our remotely activated wildlife cameras
Twitching caterpillars, not dancing!
