Venn Farm is a beautiful and tranquil seven-acre small holding just four miles from Bude and the stunning north Cornwall beaches. It is nestled between two nature reserves and has an abundance of wildlife including roe deer, buzzards, woodpeckers and barn owls. Bude is a town with some of the country’s

best beaches, including Northcott Mouth, Summerleaze, Duckpool and Sandymouth. The beaches are perfect for rock pooling and surfing, and the coastal path is particularly stunning for walkers. We have converted two barns that we rent for holidays. The red Barn is a contemporary yet family-friendly conversion. It has a sun-flooded open-plan living space upstairs overlooking a leafy, grassy meadow. Below are two pretty bedrooms and a bathroom. It sleeps 4 plus a cot. The coB, designed by award-winning architects Feilden Fowles, is a superior barn conversion offering luxurious yet family-friendly accommodation in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. It sleeps 9 plus cot. Both barns are adjacent to each other and connected by a gate in the garden should you want to rent both of them for larger parties. Venn Farm has a small woodland area and a large organic vegetable garden. We also keep our own chickens and we are happy that you help yourself to eggs during your stay. Escallonia is a delightful cottage situated in the quaint village of Poughill (pronounced Puff-all), close to Bude and the stunning beaches of the North Cornwall Coastline. It sleeps 4 plus cot. We have recently renovated the cottage. Upstairs, we have built into the eaves, added roof lights and re configured the space, introducing an en-suite to the master bedroom. The cottage now has two sun-flooded bedrooms and is bright and airy. One twin, one king-size double. Both bedrooms have Egyptian cotton bedding. The windows and roof lights have blackout blinds for cosy lie ins. The family bathroom has a roll top bath and a heated towel rail. The en-suite wet room has a wonderful ‘rainforest’ style shower. The Living room has two sofas and a wood burner for cosy nights in. There is a flat-screen TV with DVD player. There is also an iPod dock, Wi-Fi, and a wide selection of DVDs and games for both parents and kids. The kitchen is equipped with all mod cons including a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine/tumble dryer. The interiors are clean and crisp with pops of colour and whitewashed tongue and groove. It’s delightfully rural, tucked away in the peaceful hamlet of Poughill, and when the wind’s in the right direction you can hear the sea. Some May availablility.
