Did you say fishing from your own decking on your accommodation?

Pod Lake 2 fishing is exclusive for guests staying in our Pod Plus and you can fish directly from your own decking on your accommodation! We have added 50 smaller carp to go with the fish already residing in the lake which go to just over 10lbs in weight. There are also Tench and some Rudd for you to catch. These new fish averaged 3lbs in size with a whole host of scale patterns and shapes – we absolutely love them! They are sure to give you a heck of a scrap when you hook one! 🎏

We have added one more fish to Woodpecker Lake and this is now our largest in the lake – will you be the first to catch it and set a new lake record?!

Stocked at 24lb 14oz this Mirror with its massive apple slice scales is sure to put a smile on anyone’s face. The fabulous Orchard Lodges are situated next to Woodpecker Lake so if you want a short walk to your fishing spot this could be the lake for you. 🐟🐳

We have added another fish to Mallard Lake and it’s a special one. This 24lb 2oz Common is absolutely immaculate and we are certain its going to give you a great scrap if you’re lucky enough to hook it! A little more information about what we do 🐶

At Lakeshore Leisure, we are proud to support Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, who train and provide assistance dogs to support people with severe or profound hearing loss, alerting them to important and potentially life-saving sounds such as a smoke alarm.

We have supported Hearing Dogs since 2021, donating £5 for every dog friendly holiday booked and were delighted to have raised over £11,000 in 2024, now exceeding a total of £23,000! Our support will help provide ongoing support, as well as train more incredible dogs to transform the lives of deaf people. People like Devon who has is partnered with Hearing Dog Molly.

“Before I had Molly, I would often feel anxious out in public. People would sometimes talk to me and I wouldn’t hear them, so they’d think I was rude. Molly, in her Hearing Dogs jacket, makes me feel more accepted.” – Devon, with Hearing Dog Molly.”

Dragonfly Lake update 🐟

Dragonfly Lake which is situated just below our fantastic Meadow Lodges has been stocked with some more carp. In fact, we have doubled the stock! Just over 60 new carp averaging 11lbs with the largest being a 24lb 12oz mirror! 🐋

We expect the fishing to be great on Dragonfly moving forwards so why not come and have a go. Dragonfly is open for all of our guests to fish. 🎣

We are delighted to say the Fishery Team at Clawford have taken delivery of some new Carp. We are fully committed to continuing our stocking plans, so our guests have a great fishing stay with us. There have been a few surprises among our stockings this winter so watch this space for some more posts over the coming weeks…..🐋

Lodge Lake was the first lake to receive some new carp with the largest two being a shade over 25lbs! Fishing on Lodge is for guests staying in our amazing floating lodges but don’t forget if your not staying on the lake you can still fish the far bank and have a chance of landing one or two of these absolute beauties!
