Our holiday cottage is perfect for those seeking a quiet, peaceful and relaxing staycation in Devon / Cornwall – “ a breath of fresh air”! Surrounded by nature, the cottage stands in the grounds of Broomhill Farm EX22 7JZ and is situated on the Devon/Cornwall border. A truly rural location, with stunning countrysid
e views, that change with each season, yet is within 5 miles of Bude and the North Cornwall coast with its many beautiful beaches and coves. The cottage has its own garden and there is private car parking on site. The farm is primarily a sheep enterprise and is adjacent to Dunsdon Nature Reserve a 200 acre SSSI. Broomhill itself, hosts 3 lakes, which offer wild swimming in complete privacy and for our guests use only. We have 20 acres of pasture and 25 acres of woodland with access tracks throughout its entirety. The farm is an important venue for bird watching and is a natural habitat for many diverse species of butterflies and moths. The Cottage is available to be let to guests on a private basis, all year round. It is not advertised nor run by agencies and is ideal for those looking for a peaceful and relaxing break. The beautifully presented accommodation has two double bedrooms and is set on a single level. The bathroom has a ¾ bath and walk in shower. A large lounge and separate kitchen contains all the up-to-date appliances that one would expect from this exceptional, centrally heated cottage. We can be flexible with arrival and departure days; you choose and we will adjust to your wishes. Because we have numerous ground-nesting birds and farm livestock, we cannot accept dogs. Dates for arrival and departure are relaxed as no agents are involved and personal requirements can be accommodated. We live in the farmhouse next door.
