COVID-19 UPDATE
Following new government guidelines we have had good news that we can start operating our seal trips again. However, as you can imagine, we have had to make several changes to comply with new guidelines to keep us all as safe as possible while at the same time, still make it an enjoyable trip for you.
Seating will be greatly reduced to comply with social distancing.
Please take careful note of the following so you know what is required before you book….
1. PRE BOOK BY PHONE IN ADVANCE - we will have to take a contact number from you which will be kept secure for 21 days
2. BE ABLE TO EMBARK / DISEMBARK WITHOUT ASSISTANCE FROM THE CREW
3. BRING YOUR OWN HAND SANITISER TO USE BEFORE BOARDING
4. BRING YOUR OWN FACE COVERING which must be worn at all times while on-board (unless exemption applies) – this follows the latest legislation
5. PAYMENT IS TO BE MADE PREFERABLY IN ADVANCE but if necessary can be made on the day by card. If only cash is available this must be the correct amount as no change can be given. PRICES ARE CURRENTLY £13 PER TICKET – adult or child (sorry, but as we have such limited seating due to social distancing, this is the only way we can make the trips viable)
6. THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO TOILETS OR CAFÉ ON MORSTON QUAY - We hope this will change soon although this is the responsibility of the National Trust which is trying to organise the opening of these facilities
7. THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO LANDINGS ON BLAKENEY POINT and all seal trips will last approx one hour
8. FOLLOW THE LATEST RULES ON SOCIAL DISTANCING (2m on quayside, 1m on board with face covering) PLEASE RESPECT THAT IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION SOCIAL DISTANCING MAY NOT BE POSSIBLE
9. PLEASE FOLLOW STAFF INSTRUCTIONS AS THEY ARE FOR EVERYONE’S SAFETY – we reserve the right to refuse passage for anyone unwilling to comply with the above - no refunds will be given
Lastly we would please ask for your patience is these uncertain times. It’s all a big change for everyone and there may be times when things don’t run as smoothly as we would like. We hope this is not too overwhelming but unfortunately, this is what we have to do in order for us to operate safely.
We look forward to seeing you and …… don’t forget your camera!

This is the most strangest may bank holiday we have ever known. No trips and very few boats in the harbour, and with this perfect sunny weather this would have been a cracking day on the water! But we must all keep safe and healthy so all we can do is hope and pray these horrid times will improve and some normal life will resume,
Hopefully we will get back on the water soon but in the meantime all the seals we can show you are from some older pics
Keep safe everyone , enjoy the sun ! Hope see you soon

HAPPY EASTER from all of us at Beans Boats from what i can say is the most surreal Easter ever known , Below a few pictures from Morston quay this morning! Lovely and sunny, high tide, bank holiday weekend and not a sole about !! As much as its horrible to see we all say a big thank you for following government guidelines and staying away, Lets hope things we soon return to some sort of normality and we can all get out on the water again!
Keep safe and well everyone, hope see you later in the year !

23/03/2020

Apoligies for the delay in posting but a following much careful consideration at the weekend we decided to make the very sad decision to stop running the boat trips to the seals for the foreseeable future.

We were hoping being out in the fresh open air would be a helpful thing, however, we are now conscious of the impact of encouraging group gatherings, and feel it is our duty to support government guidelines and reduce the impact of spreading this horrid virus.

We wish all everyone the very best and hope you all come out the other side ok, please keep safe and hopefully will be able to see you in the summer !
