We have just had soundproofing fitted to the party wall between Owlwood and our neighbouring house on the living room/ Master bedroom side of the house.
The work was undertaken by Cs construction & conversions.
The sounds coming through the wall now have gone. We can no longer hear the muffled TV and voices! Owlwood is silent!
Carl and Corey from Cs construction & conversions arrived on the Thursday evening and worked solidly and tirelessly for three days getting the work done. They had Friday and the weekend to fit all the stud work, building two block walls, fit all the super heavy high cell density acoustic boards and rubber and get back to Yorkshire by Sunday. We hadn’t enough time in the three days for CS Construction to do the final plaster skim so we found a plasterer from Norwich to come and do that. It was then a matter for us to clean up and put the place back together and get the decorating done.
A massive thank you to Carl and Corey from CS Construction for their work. They did an absolutely brilliant job fitting the soundproofing walls, building a real rustic brick fireplace and getting everything done in the weekend for us. Also thanks to Andy Gray (A.Gray Plastering) for doing the final skim.
