Welcome back to the club 😁

Early start this morning and final tour.

Rise and fall of the third reich 12 day tour.

I have been awfully quite recently due too having a lot of things going on personally.

Nothing bad , just in the process of purchasing my first house. As you can imagine , being away from home and working while dealing with estate agents , mortgage advisor and solicitors has been very challenging the last few weeks. We are in the final stages now so hopefully all well… keep you posted.

Anyway, I have a brand new, old driver who used to do Leger many years ago, Marek. 😂

There will be plenty of photos from this battlefield tour with our guide Norman.

Well ladies and gentlemen, here’s some from day 3 of the tour, Stralsund and Greifwald.

2 amazing towns and in my opinion worth a visit …

Also my room and my amazing sofa bed here in the hotel at Greifwald.

And maybe an ice cream as it was around 33 degrees here on the Baltic Sea 🙈😀

Fantastic power plant.

The V1 bomb was also at this location. An amazing visit and well worth a trip here.

Our guide for the last 3 days has been Martyn and he is full of information and knowledge of the whole area around the Baltic coast

So , after a long day travel yesterday, we arrived at our overnight hotel which was the Mercure Antwerp city south.
Lovely hotel, great meal of steak and chips last night and fantastic breakfast.

Today we have another travel day up to Griefswald and our hotel for a 4 night stay.

Ohhhh yesss , it’s getting closer to the big news we have coming up too 😄

Good morning,

My self and Ashley are on our way to stop 24 with 2 more pick ups to go.
Really excited about this tour, Germany’s Baltic coast and Copenhagen.
Love the tour and I believe we have some VIP passengers on this one too.

I promise there will be loads of photos this week , unlike previous tours recently where , I myself haven’t been able to get some photos but this week I will be the one out and about 😃

Good morning Ladies and gents.

Yesterday we met our coach down in Rugby services after completing a tour the day before.

Left at 07:30 and headed down to stop 24 via Milton Keynes for the final pick up.
Bit of traffic ment we arrived a little late.

Still got away from interchange at 11:35 and down to Dover.
Sailed through passport control and check in for Irish ferries.
As usual that was late, but we arrived in Calais and away to the overnight hotel, Van der Valk at Brussels Airport 😁 fantastic hotel.

Today we are off to Mohne Dam for a lunch stop and a visit. Then onto our main hotel and too meet up with some great people 😁 (well person and her husband 🤣🤣) joking obviously … We will see you later

This is the Harz mountains and Fairytale Germany tour, Looking forward to this one now 😁

So, today we headed off from Anglesey with an empty coach all the way to Lymm services for an 03:30 pick up.
Had a great run down to stop 24 , taxis all on time.
Arrived in stop 24 too meet the other coaches at 10:55am sorted interchange out in quick time, was away to the port by 11:25am.

Passport control was a breeze this afternoon, and even managed to catch an early ferry to Calais. DFDS so that’s always a bonus 🤣

Headed down to our overnight hotel and arrived shortly after 19:35. Now time for a bite to eat and a quick beer before bed and another day of travel down to the wonderful Lake Como and Maggiore 😁

So far so good.

Tomorrow I will be posting my Christmas markets and Christmas tour along with the remaining tours for this year 😜

So, feeling spoilt once again with hôtel Harfenwirt.

After a lovely 3 course meal, I came to my room , and what a room.

This is the reason Austria is my favourite tour. Doesn’t matter where we go in Austria it is lovely.
Hotels , food, views are just perfect 😁

Well , after an enjoyable early start to the day 07:00 depart, nice 12 hour day.. arrived at hotel Harfenwirt at 19:00.

Now time for a well deserved beer and a nice meal.

So a quick 45 min lunch break at Wursburg services before head off towards Munich and our hotel in Neiderau.

All sat now relaxing and enjoying “sound of music” film ready for the tour over the next couple of days 😁

So today we have a day of travel down to Neiderau Austria.
Weather not great however we will make the most of it and keep the coffee shop and bar open the whole time while we travel 😜

Morning ladies and gents,

Yesterday we had an early start with our first pick up at 03:45am from Warrington, (2 hour away from depot)
We arrived early and passengers waiting there were over the moon to see the coach arrive.

Fantastic run down and all pick ups completed by Keele services.

Interchange went without a problem and was away nice and early (around 11:35).
Down to the port of Dover where I was expecting long delays (first Monday of summer holidays and a week until Paris 2024)
But nothing, sailed through without any major holdups. As travelling with Irish ferries we landed our 14:25 sailing which was delayed by 30 mins or so.

Arrived at the van der valk hotel Brussels airport at 19:45 and dinner time and bed.

So this is the Austrian gems featuring Salzburg tour (7ASMV/1)

One of my favourite tours.

Here’s some more photos of our recent trip to Switzerland, Lake Lucern,
A short visit to see the Lion memorial,
Pilatus mountain,
the Eiger at Grindelwald,
And just some general views out the coach windows.

This was a fantastic trip , hotels very nice, staff amazing and weather was just perfect, (except for the last night)

Myself and Huw had an amazing time on this trip, and I think some of the passengers also did 😁😁.

Next tour in a week, Austrian gems featuring Salzburg.

Excited to be going back to Neiderau and our very first stay at Hotel Harfenwirt 😁.

Here’s some more stunning pictures from today’s trip out. Brienz and Interlarken. Amazing weather yet again, 36 degrees reached in Interlarken today…

Really hard to fault anything on this tour as of yet…

Currently 32 degrees as we travel back to the hotel at 16:30hrs, it’s going to be a warm evening.

Really hope the weather stays like this for tomorrows pre paid optional trip on the SWISS GLACIER EXPRESS railway.

Will do my best to grab some awesome photos of the coach and the train.
