Exmoor ponies have arrived at turbary! 🐴🍂

Stockland village has lots of wonderful walks, one of which goes through the Quantock turbary. At this time of year, a few gorgeous Exmoor ponies help graze the area for a few months. We love seeing these beautiful ponies everyday when we take Lemmy out for his morning walk 🍂🍁

☀️Solar panels have arrived! ☀️

We are very excited that the solar panels for Quantock Barn have arrived today and will be installed this week 🤞🏻

The Barn already has an air source heat pump for its heating and hot water, but this is another step towards making your stay here better for the environment. 🏡

We are also adding an electric car charger too! 🌳

A great day out at Sun was shining and the animals were all gorgeous. Especially loved the heavy horses exhibit! It’s on for the next two days and is definitely worth a visit if you’re down near Exeter 😊

It might look a little bare now but in a couple of years this new hedgerow will hopefully support lots of wildlife plus add a lovely natural screening! We are making small changes around Quantock to encourage wildlife and this was our first step! Let us know if you can think of any other ideas to help improve the area for nature 🌳🐝🦌
