We're at the lodge right now and it's heaven. Spring has well and truly sprung finally; the flowers are resplendent and the mama ducks are nowhere to be seen, which I assume means they are possibly nursing or about to give birth! It's so peaceful, you can't hear a single car, and the air smells so sweet and fragrant.

If you'd like to book a few days here, or longer, then please dm me to ask for costs. If you book through us you will receive a third off the price charged through Lakeview (with £70 cleaning fee on top). Or you can go direct to the Lakeview website (just search for Lakeview Manor, Dunkeswell) to check out the prices then come back to me. Make sure you check out the two bedroom lodge, pet friendly and by the lake, because then you will get the right price range. There are three lodges in that group that all cost the same.

We have had a cancellation so next two weeks (starting from Saturday 22nd July last night Thursday 10th July). If anyone wants to hire it for whole week, weekend, or midweek you can book it through me and I will make sure that there is a 50% discount. Plus £70 cleaning fee. We're here at the moment and it's so beautiful! Please dm me if interested.

Waterside Lodge is now available to family and friends at quite a sizesable discount! You can either have a look on the main Lakeview Manor website to check prices, or dm me with the dates you'd like and I'll get back to you to confirm the cost (it will be a 50% discount plus £50 cleaning fee. It's a 2-bedroom, two shower room lodge, dog friendly, in a tranquil, rural park near Honiton in the Blackdown Hills.

Some pictures of how Waterside looks now inside; it's slightly different to how it used to look! (If you are an artist, the light in the lodge is wonderful). Spring is just beginning; the Canada geese have returned. Building work has begun in the field behind us, but we have been pleasantly surprised by how quiet it is, and work stops at weekends.

Absolutely stunning lodge. Have stayed in a few around the country, which were nice but waterside outdoes them all. Beautiful and clean and had literally everything we needed. A credit to the owners and staff. Home from home. Will definitely be staying again
