Did someone say fishing? 🐟 🐠

We would like to introduce to you.............'Our Robbie' 😊

Robbie Northman has been fishing the Norfolk Broads since he was a boy building an extensive knowledge of the Norfolk Broads, the species within them and the best methods to target them.

Robbie works with such brands as 'Savage Gear', 'Scierra' and 'Lowrance' who kindly provide the tackle and electronics for the boat, and he also holds an Angling Coach Qualification.

Robbie is always happy to help others learn and is as excited as they are when they get that catch.

We are pleased to announce that Robbie will be offering through Norfolk boat hire bespoke Angling Trips for all experience levels.

From beginner and family tuitions to advanced style and species specified trips.👍

Blue-green algae alert ⚠️

Blue-green algae (Cyanobacteria) has recently been reported and verified to be present at South Walsham Broad and Barton Broad.

Please ensure that you stay out of the water and keep children and dogs under control in the area.

Remain vigilant for signs of blue-green algae in other locations across the Broads as it is highly likely that there will be additional blooms in the area.

Blooms of blue green algae can threaten public health as well as the health of dogs, cattle, fish and other wildlife. It poses a particular risk to dogs and it can be fatal to them in some circumstances.

Use the 'Bloomin Algae' app to report sightings and see if there have been any algal blooms recorded in your area.

Luxury Electric Cruiser trips.

We are looking to run trip in a couple of ways, either you can book her for private hire, or for guided cruises.

Private hire with skipper is 2.5hrs at a cost of £160 for a maximum of 8 passengers. You can book longer hours if you wish for private charters 😁.

Public guided tours will be 2.5hrs long at a cost of £40 per person (a minimum of 4 passengers is required to make the trip viable).
We are looking at possibly running different timed trips as follows:-
6am to 8.30am - Dawn Chorus/Sunrise Cruise.
10am to 12.30pm - Mid Morning Meander.
2pm to 4.30pm - Afternoon Jolly.
5.30pm to 8pm - Sunset Cruise.
