Wow!....Another wonderful stay at Bay View. Lois is an absolute star, lovely email received before arrival and kept in constant touch throughout our weeks stay. Warm and cosy as soon as we opened the front door and absolutely spotless throughout, very useful welcome pack for both us and our little dog. Without doubt one of, if not 'the' finest Sykes properties that we've stayed in.

For many parts of the country it is half term this week. There is availability at Bay View for a 3 night stay from Tuesday 13th February and there is also availability the following week too.

It's the start of a new year and what's better than booking a few days away by the sea 🌊 Hornsea is beautiful all year round and you can wrap up warm for a beautiful walk by the sea. Explore locals towns such as Beverley, Hull, Bridlington and up the coast to Scarborough or across to the beautiful city of York. Hornsea is at the start (or end - depending on how you look at it!) of the Trans Penine Trail that goes west across the country from Hornsea to Southport. It's a lovely trail that takes you through lots of different sites and is used by walkers, runners and cyclists. Bay View has a bike shed where you can store your bikes when you come to stay so you can explore the local area by bike too. What's great is that it's mostly flat around Hornsea and there are lots of fantastic pubs in the local villages to stop and have a drink and a bite to eat.

There is nothing better than getting up to see a sunrise literally outside the front door of this beautiful apartment. You can even treat yourself to a fantastic breakfast at The Floral Hall that is across the road 😋

The only dates available in September and October are Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September and Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th October.

'I must say that Bay View in the flesh is more beautiful than the pictures show!

We have absolutely treasured our stay and would like to thank Lois personally for opening such a fantastic accommodation for us and others to stay at. It has felt like a home from home and a massive thank you also for the treats left for us on our arrival. Our dog hugely appreciated the treats that were left for her. This accommodation is by far the best I have stayed at in Hornsea. It is top quality and kept exceptionally clean, well presented and brilliantly furnished. We will certainly be booking again very soon and cannot wait to get back and stay in Bay View!!

Amazing accommodation, fantastic location, the beds are so comfortable and beautifully furnished. The complete package if I'm being totally honest! Thank you for a great experience!!

What a glorious place Hornsea is and there is nothing better than a walk down the beach on a summer's day.
