❤️ Farewell Queen Elizabeth II ❤️

21 April 1926 - 08 September 2022
My first and only glimpse was at the royal wedding 2011 and the tributes across the world only seem fitting. It was lovely to see Castle Hill and Emley Moor Mast lit up in tribute in Huddersfield last night.

A very choppy visit to Longstone lighthouse gave a lovely perspective of Bamburgh Castle, a great trip with lots of information.
I can't wait to head back out when all the nesting birds return to the islands.

Evening light across the fields looking towards Lindisfarne castle, this was taken mid November when we were privileged enough to stay on the island and watch the tide come in around us.
The island was so tranquil once the hordes of people had left.

After a very wet week in the lakes I was treated to 20 minutes with very clear skies.
Shooting in the Milky Way something I have never considered before, And I have a lot more to learn if I do it again.
Not too bad for a first attempt I don’t think but would love to have another crack.
