As many of you know, I've worked in the travel industry for over 40 years now, since leaving school (where did the years go?) and I've been with Travel Counsellors for nearly 12 years now.
Travel Counsellors are the UK's leading travel homeworking company. All Travel Counsellors are self-employed, experienced travel agents working from home and directly linked to Head Office in Manchester and their state of art reservation systems.
Travel Counsellors are agents for all of the UK's leading tour operators, cruise lines and airlines and are also a fully ATOL licenced tour operator in their own right. As they work with many overseas ground handlers and have access to the best air fares, I'm also able to put a bespoke package together for you if you can't see what your looking for in a brochure! Anything you book with Travel Counsellors is 100% financially protected by our own financial trust.
Remember that most online travel sites aren't there to give you the right advice, answer queries or help you if there's a problem. They're just there to make a quick sale.
That 'good deal' you've found might not be the best. Let me see what I can do!
Remember too that 'do-it-yourself' packages, where you book the flight and accommodation separately yourself, are very unlikely to be ATOL protected and leave you vulnerable.
Travel Counsellors are a completely independent company and not tied to any particular tour operator. That means that you can be sure that I'll check all of the options for you.
You'll always have a personal contact (me!) if you have any questions or issues. No waiting in a queue for ages to speak to someone and then being passed from department to department.
I can call upon my wealth of experience and I can also speak to my fellow colleagues at Travel Counsellors if I don't personally have an answer to something.
