We're delighted to take part in the Halifax Bus Buddies tour again this year. A great event organised by current and retired bus drivers around Halifax, the event raises huge sums of money for Overgate Hospice. Thanks to Chris Hanson for the picture and volunteering to drive one of the two buses.

The recent lovely weather has offered great opportunities to provide some services with the world's only open air Optare Solo! 'Pennine Air' has been out and about on a variety of routes this week and our wonderful customers love it.

Here are some pictures of today's Holmfirth to Barnsley service from relief Lead Driver Steve with a full and happy bus ready to start its journey.

Watch out for significant service improvements and new travel opportunities to and from the Holme Valley from early September, as we continue our mission of developing cross-boundary bus travel. Breaking boundaries to connect communities!

Huge thanks to our much valued driver Adam, who used his own time to help our loyal passenger Biba in painting her fence. Biba has used our Calderdale based services for many years now and is source of great support to our team of drivers. Great thanks to Adam who has shown the South Pennine spirit and we are mightily proud of him!

From today, Sheffield Connect is a free service provided by 4 new electric buses. Operating 7am to 7pm Monday to Saturday & 09:30am to 4pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays. SC1 operates up to every 7 minutes, SC2 operates every 20 minutes.

We were out in Sheffield City Centre today to show one of the new Electric Sheffield Connect buses to City officials and begin trial running.

Starting on Monday 8th April, route SC1 will run up to every 7 minutes and new route SC2 up to every 20 minutes. The service will be completely FREE to everyone using the service.

Keep an eye out for your new Green Electric buses!

Our established partnership with Halifax Heritage Tours CIC continues with another year of fantastic bus tours. With a live local based guide on board with a huge amount of local knowledge, the bus tours visit a range of important sites across the area with some fascinating facts and great humour. A grand bus trip out!
