What a fantastic group of ladies and children. All 11 (!) children were amazingly respectful and well behaved - a credit to their parents and the lodge has been left beautifully tidy too! I hope they book again xx

Happy Yorkshire day! We have so many beautiful Yorkshire attractions to visit from the lodge as well as being close to shopping/nights out in Manchester and Leeds :) Cannon Hall Farm, The Wakefield mining museum, The sculpture park, Eureka!, reservoir walks such as Digley and Blackmoorfoot reservoir are wonderful to walk and we have beautiful parks too… Greenhead park in Huddersfield is huge! Alpaca walking is just up the hill in Almondbury! Beautiful villages such as Holmfirth (famous for Last of the Summer wine) and gorgeous Kirkburton are just a few minutes drive away! Full of shops, cafes, fantastic restaurants and bars. Come visit Yorkshire, it’s fab! ❤️

Perfect for large families and girls pamper stays ❤️ Sleeping up to 16 guests all in bedrooms, we are close to attractions such as Holmfirth, Cannon Hall Farm and there is also a wonderful family pub within a few minutes walk from the property. We can provide afternoon tea, a gorgeous treatment and a Xmas themed privately cheffed 3 course meal at the lodge as a wonderful pamper style weekend. We are an Airbnb super host for 8 years so you can find us there or fee free directly is £1600 Friday to Sunday for up to 16 guests. Weekends of 6th and 13th December 2024 available. Benji from home kitchen has come up with a fab Xmas menu if you fancied a 3 course privately cheffed meal to get you in the mood for the festivities! Only £40pp prepped, cooked, served and even the washing up done! ✨ (menu in pics).

We are so lucky with our wraparound garden 🍂🌷Fenced off for children and dogs, it’s great in the Summer to enjoy a game or two of tennis or skittles (equipment provided for small children!). Dogs are very welcome! 🐾 There may be a tennis ball or two for them too, hiding in the utility room 😉 Parking for up to 10 cars on our private drive too! Only 4 weekends left this year, all in November and December but 2025 warmer dates are available and going fast! Please message to book xx

December at woodsome lodge is always a very twinkly affair!! ✨ Why not have a pre Xmas get together with family and friends and indulge in your own private chef for the evening, maybe a massage/beauty treatment with afternoon tea and Prosecco! The wonderful Harvey’s a short walk away does amazing Xmas cocktails to get you in festive cheer too! 🎄🎅

There are plenty of takeaway menus in the lodge but two of the best are Harvey’s stone baked pizzas and the Ho-wah Chinese takeaway - both deliver it both are within a few minutes drive :) reasonable prices and a fab excuse not to cook!! Xx

A privately cheffed 3 course meal is such a luxurious treat at an extremely affordable price of £35pp. Each meal is bespoke and can be tailored to your specific needs. Vegetarian options available.
