Although relatively short in duration, there’s no shortage of wildlife action on this value-for-money safari. Discover the unique volcanic landscape of Tsavo West, where herds of magnificent elephants share the same vibrant hues as the rich red soil. In Amboseli, with its dramatic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, enjoy game drives across a wide-open landscape where zebras, buffalo and wildebeest graze alongside a thousand-strong herd of elephants and prowling big cats.

CROATIA STAY & CRUISE - SMALL SHIP ISLAND-HOPPING - 10 NIGHTS FROM £1,929

Combine a short stay in the captivating city of Dubrovnik with a small-ship cruise along the idyllic coast of southern Dalmatia on board MS Splendid and visit picturesque islands, quaint villages and ancient cities.

Begin with a 3 night stay at Sun Gardens Dubrovnik. This 5* resort has a quiet waterfront location to the north of the city with panoramic views of the Elaphati Islands. There are three pools and a spa for relaxing days, or a 20-minute drive sees you in heart of Dubrovnik's old town, perfect for exploration.

Board the MS Splendid for your 7 night cruise. This 126-foot-long vessel has just 18 cabins and a maximum capacity of just 40 guests, a perfect way to explore this stunning region.

Day 1 - Dubrovnik - Board the MS Splendid in Dubrovnik, meet the crew and fellow travellers before enjoying a welcome dinner whilst docked.

Day 2 - Dubrovnik - Enjoy an exploration of Dubrovnik, heading into the rugged hills above the city before a guided walking tour of the historic centre. Lunch is served as you sail towards your next port, Slano, with a swim stop along the way too.

Day 3 - Mljet National Park - There is time to explore the national parks and maybe even go for a swim in one of the lakes. Later, sail onto Korčula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. Here you will have a guided tour offering an insight into the history of this remarkable town before having the evening free to wander and find a perfect spot for dinner.

Day 4 - Vis - The morning is spent sailing along the pretty coast (with another swim stop, of course) with eth afternoon free to explore the lesser-known destination, or maybe find a pretty beach to relax before finding a local restaurant for dinner.

Day 5 - Hvar - Before arriving in Hvar, you will make a brief stop at Biševo’s Blue Cave (dependent on tides). Hvar is considered to be Croatia's Monte Carlo with exclusive clubs and fantastic restaurants. Enjoy a tour of the city before having free time to explore further.

Day 6 - Brač Island - Start your day with some time at one of the best swimming beaches in Croatia before arriving in Bol, where you will find narrow streets lined by small stone houses. After lunch, arrive in Pučišća with plenty of time to explore.

Day 7 - Omiš & Split - Sail early morning to Omiš, a former pirate stronghold, before heading across to your final port, Split. Enjoy a guided walking tour of the city before having the evening at leisure to dine at a local restaurant.

Day 8 - Split - Enjoy breakfast onboard before your transfer to the airport or enjoy an optional post-cruise stay in Split.

Cruise includes daily breakfast and lunch, except for day 1 when only dinner is served and day 8 when just breakfast is served, before you disembark.
