We got to have a sneak peak of today and we were totally blown away by it. The Nest Farmhouse is nestled on a thousand-acre farm at the highest point, which is the thought behind the name. It will be a seasonal British Reatuarant from the team behind Nest and Michelin starred Restaurant St. Barts in London.

A short stroll from the restaurant is this most picturesque lake, where you will be able to enjoy drinks waterside in the summer months. There will also be a lounge, bar area and rooms.

The mother of all Easter egg hunts by 🥚

The White Horse have hidden 5️⃣0️⃣ golden eggs along the coastal path (Brancaster Staithe - Burnham Overy Staithe) ready for the morning of Good Friday. The eggs will never be too far away from the path, so make sure you don't go into people's gardens. 🪴

The prizes are what make the egg hunt so special, you could win a seafood platter, a night away in one of their beautiful and scenic rooms and much more.

The White Horse are offering buckets which you can collect from Reception to litter pick and once the bucket is full, you will be rewarded with a chocolate egg. We really love push on trying to clean up our beautiful coastline but also making it fun. Perfect for all the family. ♻️

Due to how fantastic this free event is by The White Horse and the large amount of traction it has got over the years, they will be limiting 2 eggs per group. If you find a third, please hide it again for someone else to find.

Lastly, but by no means least the will donate a chocolate egg to King's Lynn Hospital for every egg found. 🍫

Casual Work

Hi We are looking for somebody to help with our campsite set up at Thornham.

This involves mainly emptying our stores (mattresses, furniture etc) and quite a lot of ladder work with getting our lodges ready for opening. You need to be physically fit and able to get to us. We are on the Coasthopper bus route or free parking for a car. Hours are 9am 4pm Monday - Friday (work is weather dependant). This will be at least a couple of weeks work. Start almost immediately. £13 per hour.

Fish Hill, Holt captured by Eric's Fish & Chips 🎣

Eric's is one of our favourites spots. Our friends at Wild Luxury in Drove Orchards is neighbours to Eric's fish & chips and their pizza restaurant, so we know them very well (oops!).

Holt is open daily midday to 8.30pm and they do not accept bookings, so you can walk in and get a table or place an order. Alternatively, you can go online and pre-order.

We really recommend and . They are fantastic Norfolk businesses and we are looking forward to our next visit.

We are delighted to say that the King William IV pub in Sedgeford has been taken over by Coaching Inn Group this year.

This is the third Norfolk pub that the group has taken over (The Manor Coastal Hotel in Blakeney & The Pheasant Hotel in Holt) and they have 34 others across the country.

We are really excited to see what the group will do with The King William IV; looking forward to visiting.

Do you know someone who may be looking for a fun job on the Norfolk Coast for Summer 24? ⛺️

We will be looking for a Camp Leader to join our team in June and have responsibility for looking after our guests at our Summerfield Camp which is just off the coast near Ringstead in Norfolk. ☀️

You will be the face of the company with a work rota that entails working 8.30am to approx 5.30pm on Mondays and Fridays. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays you will work approximately 1 hour seeing guests after breakfast and checking everything is OK. You may have to attend camp at other times to meet guest needs. ⏰

Wild Luxury pay 25 hours a week at £12.50 per hour (mid June - end of August) . This is a fun, flexible role that may also suit a graduate over the summer. 💰

Key responsibilities 📋

🪵To provide a warm, friendly, and helpful point of contact for our glamp site guests, acting as an ambassador for Wild Luxury
🪵Manage the arrival process including lodge and camp inductions and health and safety features;
🪵To work with our change-over teams in getting lodges ready for arrivals
🪵To check guests in and out, meet and greet
🪵To take responsibility for the safety and security of our guests on camp
🪵Looking after the honesty pantry
🪵Using the online booking system to monitor arrivals and departures, take bookings, process payments, deposits and refunds.
🪵Liaising with guests on arrival and departure
🪵To take part in the out of hours rota, which includes 24 hours on- call rota in case of emergencies.
