The Elmfield is a big self catering villa on the edge of Ilfracombe North Devon. The house comes with a year round heated indoor swimming pool and a large terraced garden with summer house. Within the house are 9 ensuite bedrooms all individually styled and sleeping a maximum of 20. There is a large semi commercial kitchen perfect for sociable cooking, a huge dining room where 20 can sit all toge

ther. Next to the dining room is a cosy cocktail bar set up with fridges, glasses and cocktail books for inspiration - you just need to bring your drinks. The lounge has a big screen and plenty of sofa space with an adjoining play room with table football and a dartboard. There is plenty of parking - with 10 marked bays in our off street car park. Just off the coastal path the house is surrounding by stunning coastal scenery and a short 10 minute walk into Ilfracombe harbour are excellent restaurants and pubs.

Our Story

The Elmfield Holiday House Hire and wedding Venue Ilfracombe North Devon. 9 Bed restored Victorian villa, combining contemporary style with family atmosphere and a year round heated indoor pool. We are open for bookings 9am-10pm 7 days a weeks 365 days a year.

Zoe, Matt, Harvey and Ted moved to the Elmfield from London in 2007 taking over an already successful Bed and Breakfast business. We ran the House as a Bed and Breakfast until 2015 getting great reviews and many trip advisor certificates of excellence. One Christmas we needed to be away and put the house up for hire as a big holiday house.

We left the booking system live to see what the demand would be and the house started to fill up for the rest of the year. On reflection, we decided that a big holiday house is the kind of holiday we would choose for ourselves and friends and family so we changed the business to what it is today.
