Nellie's tribe💚

Exmoor ponies, one of the British Isles most ancient native pony breeds, have uniquely distinctive markings. A pale (mealy) muzzle, and 'mealy' rings around their eyes. Desirable characteristics include a protective, padded layer around their large eyes and a thick, dense mane and forelock - all designed to help protect them from harsh weather conditions (and flies and midges) out on the moor. Aren't they beautiful!?
