Happy New Year from Laundry Cottage, A few pics of a recent lovely walk around Morte point from Morthoe to Woolacombe. As Devon is now in tier 3 Laundry cottage is once again unable to take bookings during this period but looks forward to having lots of visitors later in 2021- summer is already filling up!

Pleased to say Laundry Cottage has been busy all summer with families enjoying holidays by the sea. The cleaners have been doing an excellent job with a deep clean between guests and everyone has reviewed how clean it has been. We still have some availability for October and November, although I’m also hoping to get down there myself!

Cosy Holiday Cottage near the sea

Laundry Cottage is a charming 2 bedroom Victorian terraced house on the outskirts of Ilfracombe in North Devon suitable for summer holidays or short breaks. Its been a successful holiday rental for over 15 years.

Located in a quite residential area with on- street parking, its only a 20 min walk to the shops and restaurants in the quaint harbour, a 10 min drive to the award winning 2 mile long sandy beach at Woolacombe or 5 mins to the rock pools of Lee Bay. There are lots of gardens, golf clubs, coastal walks and visitor attractions within easy reach of the cottage.

The cottage sleeps 4 with one spacious double room and one bunk room, so is perfect for either couples or families. There is a large living-dining room with separate kitchen and downstairs bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Outside there is a small sunny courtyard with space to BBQ and a covered side return for drying wetsuits or washing.

For families with young children the cottage comes with a stairgate, travel- cot and highchair and it is about 100m from a playpark. There are also a selection of beach mats and crabbing lines.
