We've had such a sunny start to February that we're not going to let one damp Monday ruin our high spirits. Instead, we'll continue with the excitement of welcoming our guests this Spring to enjoy some fun,rest and relaxation on our tranquil farm by the sea 🌊

Farmer Tony has also missed the extra pair of hands during feeding time and can't wait to get back on his tractor ready for those tractor and trailer rides around the farm which are always a highlight for many. No doubt our animals have missed the attention too (and the extra treats!) 🦆🐰🐔🐐🐎

🌼 We've seen our first daffodil in full bloom this week with the snowdrops dancing away in the recent sunshine we've been having. It won't be long before we are seeing scenes like this again soon.

Today is The Big Garden Birdwatch- the world's largest garden wildlife survey. Every year hundreds of thousands of nature lovers take part, helping to build a picture of how garden bird are faring. It's the ideal opportunity to get the whole family involved and also a great activity to do whilst you are staying with us anytime of the year.

Here are just some of the animals you'll get to meet when staying at Lower Campscott Farm. From cheeky goats to fluffy bunnies, our animals are part of the Campscott experience and loved by both children and grown-ups alike!

You'll be able to get involved in Farmer Tony's morning feeding rounds during your stay, along with pony walking, egg collecting and tractor and trailer rides too 🚜What a way to start your day!

It's Fridaaaayyyyy! 🥳 Friday 27th December to be exact 📅

We thought we'd start this post with a reminder of what day it is because quite frankly, does anyone really know? Luckily we have our guests arriving today for their New Year break so we're back in the swing of things here on the farm.

The animals have enjoyed their Christmas treats and we've enjoyed ours too of course but we're now looking forward to walks along the beach, countryside rambles and maybe a New Year's day dip in the sea to start the year off right! 👨‍🔧Do know someone that would love to experience life on our farm and become a mini farmer for the duration of their stay? If you do then send them our way! Farmer Tony is always grateful for the help and the children leave us with a new found confidence, not to mention the memories that will last for many years to come.

We offer the opportunity to get hands-on with our animals during your stay here at Lower Campscott Farm Holidays. You have the opportunity to collect fresh eggs from our hens in the morning, hand feed our animals, walk our Shetland ponies and take a tractor and trailer ride around the farm. If that's not enough then we have an outdoor play area, ride-on tractors and indoor games room to keep the whole family entertained.

We offer 3, 4 and 7 night stays in a choice of cottages or lodges. Dogs are also welcome in our lodges too, meaning no family member needs to be left behind 🐶

This month we celebrate a milestone anniversary on the farm so we thought we'd share a little throwback of what Lower Campscott Farm used to look like waaaaay back in the day before Farmer Tony and his feeding rounds or tractor and trailer rides even existed 😱 What a thought!

We have some sad news to share with you all today. Unfortunately our much loved Shetland pony Gypsy sadly passed away this weekend. She was the eldest out of the four and also Mum to Tiny and Pip 🐴

Gypsy has been with us for many years and considered a true icon. We've always referred to her as the most glamorous member on the farm with her white coat and blonde mane but her beauty was also within. She was a kind and gentle soul with a warm personality that remained with her even as she grew into an older lady, although she definitely kept Muffin, Tiny and Pip in check no matter what her age 😉

She will be missed by all that have known her over the years 💜
