The highest and the steepest totally water powered railway in the world.

Opened in 1890, the fully water powered railway provides stunning views of the North Devon coast.

The Plough cottage at Middle Lee Farm is available for a 3 night stay this bank holiday weekend (Friday 23rd August onwards)!

The cottage has a double and twin bedroom and it’s own private, enclosed, outdoor dining area. So sleeps 4. Guests have access to the terraced gardens, orchard, games & laundry room and a 1 acre paddock, where the 2 miniature Shetland ponies graze when not in their enclosure!

It’s set within 3 acres of grounds in the picturesque, ‘quintessentially-traditional’ village of Berrynarbor.

In walking distance to the 3 local pubs, village shop and, with the north Devon costal path being only 1 mile away, you can either turn left towards Ilfracombe or right towards Combe Martin!

To my ‘mini fanatical friends’! This is a spectacular not to be missed! Great viewing points (with a drink in hand 🍺🍷🍾🥂) at The Sawmills Pub l, The Dolphin or The Thatched Inn - all in walking distance from our cottages 😉

We still have accommodation for Bank Holiday weekend so let me know if you want to book 😉

⭐️⭐️ Middle Lee Farm ⭐️⭐️

We have 4 cottages situated in a courtyard setting within 3 acres of grounds in the beautiful village of Berrynarbor in North Devon. In walking distance to the 3 local pubs, village shop and, with the north Devon costal path being only 1 mile away, you can either turn left towards Ilfracombe or right towards Combe Martin!

3 of our cottages have a double and twin bedroom. Each with their own sun-terrace, with charcoal BBQ! The other cottage is an upside down cottage with a double bedroom and a secluded garden a short distance away.

We are dog friendly 🐶 (max 2, £30 per dog, per stay). And there are plenty of enclosed areas for them to explore!

We have a games area, a small playground for our younger guests, a field (ideal for playing football, rounders and cricket) where our 2 miniature Shetland ponies reside in an enclosed paddock and a laundry room.

Middle Lee Farm is open all year long!

There are 4 cottages set within 3 acres of grounds in the picturesque village of Berrynarbor. Each cottage has its own private garden/ terrace and there are 2 paddocks and an orchard for the dogs to explore. There’s a playground, a covered play area and laundry facilities too!

It’s in walking distance to the 3 local pubs, village shop and, and with the north Devon costal path being only 1 mile away, you can either turn left towards Ilfracombe (3 miles) or right towards Combe Martin (2 miles)!

Woolacombe, Saunton Sands and Croyde are all less than 30 minutes away! Fabulous for beach days, surfing or golfing!
