Wow! What can I say about last nights ‘disabled disco’

Firstly I must apologise to anyone who we had to turn away as we were full to capacity.

We get busier and busier every month which shows how much events like these are needed.

Thank you to all our volunteers who stepped in last minute as we had a few people on holiday or ill.

The atmosphere was amazing and the dance floor was packed from beginning to end.

Our next one is on the 29th august and we can’t wait to see you all again.

Hi everyone,

An update on our disco tomorrow night for adults with additional needs.

Firstly the disco is still going ahead tomorrow, and we look forward to seeing you all as usual.

We were hoping that ‘East midlands today” were coming along to do a feature on us.
Unfortunately they are struggling for staff and can’t make it this month, they have said however they have pencilled us in for our April disco.
They will keep me updated and I will let you know as soon as possible.

We’ve had amazing feedback from the article on the bbc website, but it’s not the work of one woman.

Without the tireless help of our volunteers we wouldn’t be able to host the disco and provide a place for young adults to enjoy themselves.

Thank you to everyone who gives their time to help us and for being part of the team.

What a glorious summer we have had!
Now things are finally getting back to normal, we have seen an influx of bookings for this year and next.
We have no Friday or Saturday evenings left for this year and we are fillings dates quickly for next year.
