Lots of questions regarding our profiling beds; me has side rails with removal cushion pads and an air flow mattress. The other can be raised or lowered all the way down to the floor.
Both covered by the ceiling track hoist and we also have a mobile hoist for those not comfortable using the ceiling track hoist.
We’re always happy to answer any questions regarding the Big Tin Barn as we hope to accommodate everyone as best we can and reduce the anxiety or pressures associated with travelling with disability care needs.

Accessible bedroom features include underfloor heating (throughout property), clinical waste disposal, medicine fridge and sink unit, smart TV , two profiling beds, safety rails, ceiling hoist, remote control blinds and bifolding doors to our wrap around garden patios.

SPACE! We have had so much feedback regarding the size of our property, with EVERYONE commenting on how surprised they are at how much BETTER it is in real life and how much bigger the space is than they were expecting…Capturing everything this Big Tin Barn encompasses is almost impossible, so getting such wonderful feedback and reviews is paramount 🌟

TESTIMONIAL; We had a wonderful stay at The Big Tin Barn…’In most places we've been to wheelchair-access is an after-thought, but here it was at the core and it really made it possible to relax fully and easily. The kitchen is incredible, we've never experienced so many accessibility features and it was a dream.
The Big Tin Barn isn't just about access, it's beautiful inside and out and a lovely place to spend time as a family. We enjoyed day trips to Lyme Regis and Longleat Safari, had a great takeaway pizza from The Bell and a lovely dinner at Five Dials just a few minutes down the road.

We’re ready for our next guests! On request, we have ensured our shower trolley, jiraffe shower chair and mobile hoist are available….Still plenty of room in the wetroom!

Our master bedroom has through access to our accessible bedroom to ensure everyone can rest easy, knowing that those cared for are safe, secure, close and comfortable. Our alarm system can be operated from accessible bedroom and wetroom.

Just a stones throw away (literally) we have been working hard to put in wheelchair access to ensure all of our guests can visit our wonderful highland cattle!
