There really is
At Sani Resort, sustainability lies at the heart of everything they do. The 2023 ESG Report showcases their ongoing efforts in environmental, social, and corporate governance. They have reached significant milestones, such as achieving zero Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions, reusing 100% of treated water, and reducing single-use plastics by 74% over the past five years.
As they continue on this journey, they are committed to achieving zero single-use plastic and zero waste to landfill by the end of 2024, aligning with their ambitious environmental targets.
Their initiatives include the Sani Environmental Observatory for the Sani Pine Forest, which has sequestered over 150,000 tonnes of CO₂, as well as efforts to protect the Sani wetlands and Aegean dolphin populations. These endeavours highlight their dedication to preserving Mediterranean biodiversity.
Their impact goes beyond environmental goals. By collaborating with over 40 NGOs each year, they empower vulnerable social groups, promote education, and support employability in tourism. They are also committed to fostering diversity, with women now making up 43% of the Sani workforce and increasing their representation in senior management by an additional 8% in 2023.
At Sani, sustainable luxury means offering exceptional hospitality while making a positive impact on the wellbeing of the destinations we call home.
