🔥 Do you know the story of the first Burns Night?

Every January 25th, people across Scotland, and the world, gather to celebrate the life of Robert Burns with whisky, haggis, and his unforgettable poetry. But the first-ever Burns Supper wasn’t actually on his birthday!

On July 21, 1801, nine of Burns’ friends met at his birthplace in Alloway to mark the fifth anniversary of his passing. They shared a meal, recited his works, and gave a powerful tribute now known as the Immortal Memory. This special evening became the blueprint for what we now call Burns Night.

Today, the tradition continues on the Bard’s birthday, blending poetry, history, and good cheer.
