What a difference it makes to Housekeeping, Maintenance and Office staff when guests send us lovely comments that truly reflect what a holiday in Tomich is all about. We are not very good at blowing our own trumpets here at Tomich Holidays but here goes for our very own Friday fanfare!

"The Boathouse is perfectly situated on the edge of a remote loch. We watched ever changing vistas through the floor to ceiling windows; rainbows, sunrises, cloud scapes and even sunshine. We rowed on and swam in the loch, jumping into the hot tub to warm up..... The perfect place to unwind and reset"

"The farm is in a fantastic location, and the courtyard and surrounding buildings and grounds provide a beautiful and relaxing environment. Stalkers Cottage had everything we needed for self-catering, and the shower was great after a big day out in the hills..... An altogether excellent experience!!"

We are looking forward to The Coach House Cafe reopening tomorrow from 10am to 4pm, serving freshly baked filled focaccias, nutritious home cooked soups and delicious cakes and traybakes. We wish Meg all the best in her new venture.

The village shop in Cannich has had a major face lift and now incorporates the Affric Bar & Cafe (in a double decker bus!). Just a short 5 minute drive from Tomich Holidays.

A few weeks ago we found a nest of robin's eggs in a bike helmet hanging up in one of our workshops in the Courtyard. Now take a look at these little beauties all snuggled up and growing fast. What a perfect spot to raise your young!

Our rhododendrons and azelias are looking blooming fabulous as the weather warms and they are finally blossoming. They hold the mantle as one of Scotland's most threatening non native plants and they took a severe pruning a few years back here on the Estate.

"Our family arrived on Easter Saturday for our week’s holiday at Tomich. This was our third visit. The cabins with three bedrooms are ideal for us.
Cabin was ready to go, beds were made up and was selection of instant coffee sachets and creamer pots to make a warm drink.
Location is excellent, away from it all with only the other few cabins as neighbours. Local pub for evening meals 5mins walk away, as well as a convenience store 10 mins drive to top up supplies.
The playground, pool and walks from the door are great for keeping the kids entertained. As well as longer walks for those more motivated.
All round fantastic spot, will definitely be back"

The lambing snows may have arrived at Tomich Holidays but we are ignoring them and pretending Spring is in full flow. Tomich still looks as spectacular as ever with its beautiful green forest backdrop and nothing very much between us and the West Coast some 30 miles away, except wild Glens, walking tracks and solitude.
