We are advised by Scottish Water that sewer replacement works will result in the closure of Greig Street to vehicles from 19 - 30 August. It is not yet clear how this will affect vehicular access, and parking arrangements, on King Street.

Parking places are likely to be under pressure due to the displacement of parking in Greig Street. We are assured that guests may use any available spaces in nearby streets as long as they display the visitors’ parking permit.

We took a trip to Fort William today to stock up on soaps for the apartment at The Highland Soap Co.®, and were fortunate enough to get a close-up view of The Jacobite Steam Train steaming its way through Banavie en-route to Glenfinnan and Mallaig. With careful planning this is a great possibility for a day trip for guests who like heritage railways! #jacobitesteamtrain #fortwilliam
