Take advantage of the good weather this weekend and head to 🏰Andy puts on a brilliant falcon show twice a day. Have a look around the castle and lunch 🥪 at the cafe. Well worth a visit 🏰🦅

In a well known Inverness bookshop I found a rare book 📕 about local woman Betty (Elizabeth) Burke who invented the modern crossword puzzle. There has been an argument for over 100 years whether it was Betty or Arthur Wynne, a Liverpool journalist. If you want to read about this amazing lady and you want to buy the book you can find it in the Scottish 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 section four along and six down! 😉

Inverness has lots of amazing restaurants and cafes ☕️ here are just a few. My top tip for restaurants is to book before you go.
Please don’t book 2 or 3 - these restaurants will have to turn away guests while waiting for no shows. (I know not everyone does this) Our local businesses are small and hard working so remember to 🥖🧇🍔🥗☕️
