Lest we forget.

A while back I promised you some of the unique art from the gallery I have teamed up with. This is No1 of a limited edition of 10 on the"Lest We Forget Collection" The boxes all waterproof using bird friendly materials and suitable for Robins, Sparrows, Blue Tits, Great Tits and Wrens. They will roost in it overnight and may raise a brood in the summertime. Each box is signed and numbered. So if you would like something nice for the bird population in your garden, then drop me a note here on this page. Other boxes are available, with photos to follow. Some will have viewing panels in the back for you to observe the birds as they roost or bring up a brood. These will come with installation instructions so you are able to see the birds without disturbing them. The ribbon reads "At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them". Appropriate for the boxes, the first of which is being gifted today, to the Gordon Highlander Museum in Aberdeen, to raise funds to keep the museum and to honour a brave man who volunteered for the commandos during the war, and was sent on many dangerous missions, including the Raid on St Nazaire.
