🌏Asiara Holiday's Tour Summary:
Day 1 – Arrive in Hanoi and unwind.
Day 2 – Explore Hanoi on a motorbike, visiting Ngoc Ha Market, Hoa Lo Prison, and St Joseph’s Cathedral. Embrace a ‘Street Life’ experience, indulging in street food favourites like Pho and Banh Mi.
Day 3 – Visit Ngoc Thuy Market to purchase ingredients for your cooking class, taking place in the traditional Vietnamese house of your guide (the chef). You can also choose to visit relics of a village or learn about herbs and vegetables in a family garden.
Day 4 – Visit Bai Tu Long Bay where you will discover Thien Canh Son Cave, and Hon Co Island. On this cruise, be treated to traditional Vietnamese dishes that showcase the rich culinary heritage of Halong Bay.
Day 5 – Wake up to a Tai Chi session, before visiting Vung Vieng fishing village. Fly to Danang and transfer to Hoi An.
Day 6 – Enjoy a bike ride to Tra Que Vegetable Farm, before visiting the Hoi An market. Enjoy a professional cooking class, before exploring Hoi An’s ancient town.
Day 7 – Free day in Hoi An.
Day 8 – Drive to Hue, passing the Hai Van Pass. Enjoy a personal cyclo ride to the Trang Tien Bridge. You will also visit the D**g Ba Market, stopping at famous street food stalls to try dishes such as Banh Khoai (Hue pancake), Bun Bo Hue (Hue beef vermicelli soup), and Banh Beo (Steamed rice flour dish topped with shrimp). Then, visit the Thien Mu Pagoda, before boarding a local boat and enjoying a seafood dinner in a traditional cottage.
Day 9 – Cycle around Thuy Bieu village and visit an ancient Garden House. After, learn how to cook three traditional, local dishes, before visiting Hue’s Ancient Citadel.
Day 10 – Fly to Ho Chi Minh City. Enjoy an evening exploration of Saigon on a scooter. Visit Chinatown, learn how to make a crispy banana cracker, and visit the Ho Thi Ky wholesale flower market. Stop at a local restaurant for Pho and Banh My, before visiting Nguyen Thien Thuat. Finally, visit the local’s favourite drinking spot.
Day 11 – Enjoy a morning coffee experience. Later, visit Tan Dinh Church (Pinky Church), Tan Dinh market, the People’s Committee building, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral (outside) and the Old Central Post Office.
Day 12 – Visit Ben Tre Province. Ride a tri-motor cycle around the village roads. Then board the Mango Cruise, visiting a coconut processing destination and a brick making shop. Later, cycle around Phong Nam village, exploring a rice noodle factory, before visiting Mrs. Huong’s home. Then return to your cruise and enjoy a 5-course meal. After, cycle to the local house of Mr Sau Tuong, a former Vietcong soldier. Transfer to Can Tho.
Day 13 – Board a boat to Cai Rang floating market. Then transfer to Ho Chi Minh City, visiting the Vinh Trang Pagoda on the way.
Day 14 – Depart Ho Chi Minh City.
