Some prep work

Drill and plugging (with umbrella shaped raw plugs) as a fresh key with a wire lath mesh to secure the old background that was solid to the wall. This original smooth render does not act as a good key as a top coat as it is a smooth render. This mesh gives the background a lifetime piece of security that can not crack/become loose to the wall or have any problems over years. This method can be used in almost every background including sandstone !

A farmhouse in barnslay north ayrshire. Wee used hp12 bace coat as open to the elements taken off all boss (loose) roughcast. Used hp12 krend to scrim. covered the windowns with sticky cling and smooth rendered for the bands around windows. With a dolla white chip and a breathable silcone based background this job has been done to a very high standard.

What a pleasant cuple to work for.

All boss removed from the building 25 years gaurentee as the client decided to undercoat, mesh then top coat with a natural spar chip.

This was and stll is a brand new carpet after plasterwork. New carpet. No problem ( sticky cling carpet and hard wood /laminite floor protection .

Client only wanted the damp area fixed . Sbr ( mould retardant)used . Gp motor krend with mesh to cover cracked areas. Plastic stop beads used were required and silcone to fill any gaps . Damp wall cut out and under coated inside and out. Blue grit used for a nice key internally.Out sides ready for top coat tomorrow. Ardrossan area ;-)
