I've just found the original sign for Craigowen 😍 I met the original owner, and namesake, the last time I was here and she was overwhelmed that we'd chosen to use their name again for the house (she actually cried and hugged me 🥲)

Today I've discovered the sign they used too and it's definitely going to be made a feature as soon as I can figure out what to do with it 😃

Next little recommendation from us is Born in Scotland Lanton Mill

Even though we arrived late they were still kind enough to open up the grass sledges for the kids and they LOVED IT! It's also the best place to top up your Oor Wullie merch 😍

Obviously we can't recommend places to eat until we've thoroughly tested them 😄

Today we headed to Naked Sourdough Bakery & Café just a hundred metres or so down the road....WOW! The 50/50 organic sourdough was incredible with a great tang and just the right bite. Unfortunately I didn't get to try the lemon and lime doughnut because my boy inhaled it before I got close 😒

It's always a good sign when the place you're buying cakes and artisan bread from is quite clearly baking it in-house every day! 😍

Already looking forward to heading back.
