Popped in to say hello to the new owners of The Croft Inn (2 miles from the lodge) who only reopened yesterday and we were treated to some delicious Thai food by the new head chef! If you are in the area you must go. You will not be disappointed!

Breaking news! Moray has been released from restricted travel from midnight tonight so the cafe and bike hire will return to being open daily (except tues/wed) from tomorrow. We’re looking forward to seeing you all again soon!😊 🚲

Well, it’s with mixed emotions that we can announce that as of tomorrow, Glenlivet View will be in new hands.

After 9 years, the time is right for us to hand the keys over.
The new owners are Candice & Michael from Edinburgh and we hope they enjoy themselves just as much as we have.

All existing bookings will be honoured and hopefully now that regulations are being gradually relaxed, new bookings will flood in!

Thank you to everyone who has visited us and the very best of luck to Candice & Michael in their new venture.

Great news that the Walking Festival will be on again!

Thanks to everyone for being so patient waiting to hear when the festival would start. Like so many organisations, we have been humming and hawing about how we navigate the COVID19 guidelines.

So this year, we will have the Midsummer festival from Thursday 17 June to Wednesday 23 June and a special Autumn Equinox Festival from Thursday 16 September to Wednesday 22 September. We hope this will allow us some flexibility with any changes to the guidelines. Over April, events will start to appear on the website, but tickets won't go on sale until May to ensure that we will still be allowed to run outdoor events in June. For a small community-run event giving refunds is a lot of work! Sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.

We're sure that you'll love the events we have coming up!

We were a little worried that we hadn’t seen our resident red squirrels for quite a few days but we topped-up the feeder yesterday and, today we were delighted to see 2 of them feeding (ok, they were having a bit of a scrap but nothing serious). They were quite ok with us watching them too. Such lovely little things!
