Loving our welcome gifts for our guests at the moment. Our newest one is a collaboration between and , which means a lot to both of us. It's so good that we can share it with our guests, and it tastes great too.

We love this time of year. With the fields around the village full of colour and life.

We have a last minute week available from the 2nd to the 9th of June. Book now for £640 for the week. Short breaks may be considered.

Amazing pizza from with a lovely view. If you find yourselves in Ambleside on an evening then pop in and then find a lovely spot to eat. We have lots of recommendations where. Highly recommended by all the Whalley-Jones's!

We have opened up our remaining free dates in April and beginning of May for short breaks. So if you fancy a Lakes trip away, book before they go.

Second day we have used the train from the village. The Staveley station is only 10ml tues walk from the bungalow. It opens up more walking and cycling routes with little fuss.

Planning some adventures whilst having a brew. If you are thinking of a Lake District adventure and haven’t booked yet, then why not book the bungalow as base to explore from. We have some gaps this summer. 30th of April-7th May, 7th-14th May and 16th-23rd July.

Can’t beat a lovely Autumn walk with some Herdwicks. A nice walk from the bungalow up to Rather Heath. Cracking views to Kentmere.
