Lots of vans back today after summer holiday hires. As the kids go back to school why not take advantage of a quieter Lake District and explore this beautiful area in a classic VW camper? We'll never complain about glorious sunshine but it is way too hot for valeting vans today and a bit of sup boarding or kayaking on Derwentwater may be the choice instead!

Today Fleur Rainbow Camper is 49 years old big 5 - oh next year! This year she's had to wait patiently at home as the local bodyshop has been too busy with insurance repairs to fit her in. Hopefully this winter it will be done and she'll be back out camping in 2022 in her 50th year!

Bit of a grey day yesterday but Robbie, Harry and Billy Rainbow 🌈 Camper always add colour and masses of smiles to any occasion 😀. So good to be fulfilling all these wedding hires that were postponed from 2020.

Been playing full size campervan "Rush hour" this evening... I got Harry out from the back corner in record time and didn't have to move Henry the 2cv or the Khyam awning... Result!

It is the first time for ages that we have had more than one or two of the Rainbow Campers Clan at home for the evening. Only thing is, I need to fill Harry up with petrol ready for his next wedding duty. Anyone any good at the game "Rush Hour"?

More from yesterday's wedding. Congratulations to Abigail & Ryan on your marriage 💑. I think that brolly picture is my favourite from the day, or one by the lake, it did rain a tad but it was still a beautiful day. And I made it to my seat at Ewood Park by 3.20pm not bad after driving through torrential rain in Harrison Rainbow Camper

Just working my way back home, Homeward Bound etc in Maisie Rainbow Camper after a fabulous weekend celebrating the marriage of niece Emma & George x. Done it at last after many stresses and postponing from 2020. Could not have been a more beautiful day or couple 😀
