An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Captain and Chef/Mate/Stewardess couple aboard a 25m sailing yacht. This primarily private vessel occasionally charters, offering a fantastic chance to manage your own yacht!

This position starts in March in Europe, jsut before the summer season, with the yacht cruising the Mediterranean in summer and the Caribbean in winter. There's also a possibility of the vessel heading to the U.S., though this is yet to be confirmed.

As Captain, you'll be responsible for all aspects of managing the yacht, so a strong sailing background is essential, along with experience on similar-sized vessels. A Yachtmaster Offshore or Yachtmaster Ocean, plus AEC1 & AEC2 qualifications, are required. We're looking for an experienced Captain but would also consider a First Mate ready to step into their first Captain's role.

We are currently looking for a Sole Engineer to join a beautiful 35m Sailing Yacht. This is a busy private and single-season vessel with a Spain winter base. The necessary qualifications would be AEC1&2 in hand! You will need to have a good engineering background, and knowledge of diesel maintenance, hydraulics, refrigeration, water makers etc... Trade certificates are appreciated. The boat has a new Volvo main engine of 405kW and Kohler generators 55kW.

You will need to have sailing experience as the vessel runs with a crew of 5. Someone who is a team player and happy to assist in all departments when required is key. We are looking for someone who has experience in the industry already on yachts of a similar size, although we would consider someone with some strong recreational sailing and engineering land-based experience.
