Elegant and ornate beneath its beamed ceilings, the villa is furnished in elegant Italian style and offers very high standards. Each of the six bedrooms is in the main house, as are the kitchen, sitting and dining rooms, and a TV room/library.

The large limonaia is a delightful bonus, with huge windows letting light flood into a second kitchen and dining room, a pergola terrace forming an al fresco living room, and an excellent games room. From the villa’s supremely peaceful position, a woodland uphill walk leads to the ancient village of Preggio, and shops, bars and restaurants in Lisciano Niccone, Mercatale and Castel Rigone are within 10km. This is a wonderful base for touring the magnificent towns and villages of Umbria and enjoying superb local restaurants. Guests have nothing but praise for the staff who look after guests beautifully.

It’s a week now since I returned from an incredible few days at Walt Disney World in Florida and what a trip it was. Here’s a lowdown of what we did (in a nutshell!)….

✈️ We started out trip in style with an unexpected upgrade to Business Class on our Aer Lingus flight from Manchester to Orlando.

⭐️ We stayed 5 nights at the gorgeous Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort - one of Disney’s Deluxe properties

🏨 Visited 9 of the incredible on-site Disney hotels across all levels including Contemporary, Polynesian, Pop Century & Caribbean Beach.

🚆 Experienced all the different transportation options available to take you between hotels and the parks including monorail, bus & Skyliner

🎢 Visited all 4 parks experiencing the rides & attractions, we were treated to Lightening Lane passes & VIP guides absolutely spoiling us, showing us around and getting us to the front of the queues 😝 My ride highlights were definitely Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Festival of The Lion King & Guardians of The Galaxy.

✨ Once in a lifetime experiences - the highlight being able to experience the beauty of Animal Kingdom before the park opened and a private ride on Avatar - Flight of Passage.

🚢 We spent a morning visiting the beautiful Disney Wish cruise ship at Port Canaveral and learning all about the facilities and benefits of a Disney Cruise Line cruise!

🌭 I ate far too much food but enjoyed every bite of it! From Mickey Waffles for breakfast, Tony’s Spaghetti & Meatballs for lunch, steak dinners and every snack in between - you will definitely not go hungry at Walt Disney World!

🦶 We walked A LOT!! I totted up 125,000 steps in just 5 days!!!!

🐭 And no trip to Disney would be complete without a few Character Meet & Greets including the Main Mouse himself!

I had the best time with lots of laughs, making new friends, memories to last a lifetime and most importantly I learnt sooo much and now have a wealth of Disney knowledge that I can pass on to all of you!

Last night I found out which of the Disney Resorts I will be staying at on our Walt Disney World Ultimate Fam trip next month! One of the main reasons for and biggest highlights of our trip was our visit to @elephanthills_thailand and it was an adventure we’ll all remember forever!
