Dereham Blues Festival 2022 opening concert on Wednesday the 6th of July at the Dereham Memorial Hall, will be launched by The Kyla Brox Band and When Rivers Meet, with their full backing band, as headliners. What a line-up of fantastic UK blues talent all in the one concert, an evening not to be missed!

Woody the has been a regular visitor to our peanuts in recent weeks, as seen through our wildlife window. Magnificent red and green colouring on display. He is quick to flit off if he sees activity on our side of the window, so if he lands while you are there, approach slowly.

Apart from sprucing up the paintwork, some modest but useful internal updates over winter. En-suite shower now wider & brighter with new walls & sliding doors. Old shower curtain over the bath replaced by this nifty hinged shower screen, much nicer.

Fantastic news that our recent guest comment is currently 'review of the week' for this week!
We are sure this weeks guests will have a 'cracker' of festive Norfolk break. Our Welcome Hamper should set them off well.
A big Christmas Thank You to all our fantastic suppliers that have helped along the way this year. and from Hunstanton for the hampers; housekeeping by ; the charming Paul for this weeks recovery from a self inflicted hot tub disaster and the charming Helen at Congham Vineyard for some excellent locally grown wines available from the deli. Not forgetting of course Jonathan & Alison not only for some wonderful local gin, but also beautiful bottles that just keep on giving.
Thanks too are due to and for finding such great guests for us.

Great evening at The Ffolkes for last night of Good grub, great beer and brilliant young band Würst Brass making it difficult to sit still. Looked like their mums reminded the band to wash their knees! Looking forward to next OktoberFeast already.

A well equipped kitchen is real bonus for families when the weather turns inclement and the days out turn into days in. This guest was kind enough to share the cake (well their pictures anyway) made using our checkerboard tools.

Actually we think it's always time for cake!

After dip in the hot tub there is pleanty of room around our fabulous firepit as these chillier evenings arrive. Log seats, blankets, and marsmallows to toast. Yummy. 🔥 😍 Maybe even washed down with a lovely glass of Norfolk Gin or local white wine from The Norfolk Deli
