🎶 On the 10th day of Fishmas, Seafish brought to life 10 stunning photoshoots! 🎶

This year, we’ve had the privilege of collaborating with the renowned photographer Kathryn Polley Photography on 10 incredible brand photography shoots. From capturing the vibrant colours of our premium seafood products to highlighting the artistry behind our meals, Kathryn’s talent has elevated our visual storytelling to new heights. 📸

Each shoot was carefully crafted to showcase not only the quality of our products but also the heart and soul behind Seafish UK. Whether it’s our Ocean Bistro creations, comforting Nanna Carter’s classics, or the excitement of Sheltie’s foodservice favourites, Kathryn has truly helped us bring our brand to life.

In Loving Memory of John Carter

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of John Carter, our beloved Production Manager and a true cornerstone of Seafish UK.

John was more than just a colleague; he was family in every sense. A father to his two son’s Craig and Shane, the younger brother of our founder Bob, and uncle to our directors Emma, Andrew, and Robert, John’s influence stretched far and wide within our business and beyond.

With an incredible 48 years of experience in the seafood industry, including unforgettable trips on the Sidewinders Distant Water Trawler, John brought unmatched expertise, passion, and dedication to everything he did. He was the "main man" in the factory, ensuring our operations ran smoothly and always lending a helping hand. His wealth of knowledge, gathered from working with multinational food production companies in a variety of roles, shaped the strong foundation on which Seafish UK stands today.

But John’s legacy goes beyond his professional achievements. He was a loving father, a doting grandfather, a wonderful brother, and an incredible uncle. One of his proudest accomplishment, as he often said, was being part of Seafish UK from its very beginning and watching it grow into the thriving family business it is today.

We couldn’t have done it without you, John. Your unwavering support, wisdom, and love for the business will forever remain in our hearts.

Rest in peace, John. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten. 💙

Well what can we say, 2023 has been shrimply the best! 🎉 From launching our rebrand, introducing 8 new products, attending 32 events and trade shows, taking our staff head count to over 100, installing new machinery to elevate our production, creating new customer relationships and working with more local suppliers than ever before, to finally seeing Bob step down and his daughter and sons moving into their director roles ready to take Seafish UK to new heights in the new year. 📈 Thank you to everyone who has been part of our incredible journey so far and we are looking forward to an even bigger and better 2024. 🌟

We had an absolutely fantastic evening at the @britishfrozenfoodfed Gala Awards last night, while we haven't come away triumphant, we couldn't be more proud of the products we had up for an award. And that's a wrap on Q1 at Seafish UK! 🎬 We started 2023 strong by giving our HQ, socials and uniforms a fresh new look 😎 and all staff had their very own photoshoot 📸 In February we kicked off show season by heading down to the NEC to attend the Packing Innovations Show, it was great to look closely at new, renewable packing solutions and how we can look to implement them here. 📦💚 Next up was the Sterling Supergroup trade show in Nottingham! This was a great opportunity for us to catch up with customers old and new, and share our exciting plans for the future of Seafish UK 🐠 In March, the makeovers continued as we launched our BRAND-NEW website! We were incredibly proud to share this after months of hard work, be sure to take a look and let us know what you think 💻 We also celebrated International Women's Day by highlighting the incredible women who keep Seafish UK going 🙌 Later in March, Emma, Ben and Julie headed down to London to attend IFE23.
