Each cabin is unique, some are built from round pine logs, and others are more modern and are made using flat-planed logs. They all adjoin another cabin and can be terraced, end of terrace or semi-detached. All of the cabins are equipped with all the modern amenities you'd need for a comfortable stay. Up here in the Arctic Circle, they've mastered heating and insulating the cabins - plus each one has its own private sauna and fireplace, great for warming up after a day of exploring Ylläs.

❄️Many of the cabins also offer stunning views of the surrounding wilderness. Each cabin varies in location around the village of Äkäslompolo - some are close to the centre of resort, while others are set in the more remote areas of Ylläs. They also vary in size and capacity, making them suitable for couples, families, and larger groups.

Lapland is one of the best places in the world to witness the Northern Lights and staying in the Ylläs Log Cabins during the winter months provides an excellent chance to witness this natural phenomenon.
