Start from Kington and take in Pembridge, Luntley, Eardisland, Shobdon, Wapley Hill Fort, Titley and back to the glorious field tent at White Heron Properties for contemplation with the lovely Julie Green! So much lovely black and white, dovecotes, rivers, history and literally hardly a car - lucky us!

This is worth coming to Kington for. An evening of happiness, sunshine and brilliant fun. Everyone’s a winner! Fantastically well organised by and many others. Compered by the one and only John Hussey and some great entries from near and far. This event just keeps on getting bigger and better. A huge event from a small town.

This Saturday, Kington transforms for one night only to become the race track for its biggest event in the calendar… the annual Wheelbarrow Race!! 🏁

There’s no event quite like it, and everyone pours onto the streets to watch the hilarious & impressive spectacle!

Helen signed ours! Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of DDay the Kington Chamber of Trade have thought up a great initiative - a Ration Book. A trail through Kington to get it stamped by all participating stores. For kids and adults alike pick yours up at the Kington Tourism Information Centre. Participate throughout June and get yourself some fabulous treats too! From the deli - olives, cheeses, herbs and spices, teas and even delicious drinks!

So excited to have PJ powers headlining our African Festival on the 29th of June. If you haven't got your tickets yet then hurry book now.

All the way from South Africa PJ has always been a favourite singer of ours and to have her headlining a festival of ours in the UK is just magic!!

She will be kicking off the festivities with her book launch "Feel so strong - Music Mandela and Me" where you will be the first to hear about it, buy it and she will be signing copies
And ending it with her set, singing and story telling of the events that got her to where she is. Stories of apartheid, Mandela, low times and high times, no things barred. It's raw and beautiful at the same time
