It's and this is one of the most iconic west coast sights. The Skye bridge opened on this day - 16th October - 1995, meaning you could go 🎶Over the Sea To Skye🎵 by road.

The Isle of Rum is home to Kinloch Castle, hundreds of red deer, the breeding ground for around a quarter of the world population of Max Shearwaters and the place where the white tailed sea eagles were reintroduced to Scotland.
