We have 12 connection points (7 kWh) across both standard and accessible car parking spaces. There is no connection fee and your first 15 minutes are free, with a charge of 27p per kWh thereafter.

We're located just off of the M90, so we're a perfect pitstop. While your vehicle charges, you can recharge with a walk in nature, a browse in our shop or some feel-good favourites in our café.

Did you know that RSPB Loch Leven has two mobility scooters available for hire, thanks to the Kinross-Shire Partnership Trail Scooters Scheme? Our visitor centre, including the café, is accessible via ramps from the Heritage Trail and has accessible toilets and a changing places bathroom.

Hire of our mobility scooters is completely free of charge and can be booked ahead of time. Contact us at the details below to book!

Happy Easter everyone! Remember the new link path from the Heritage Trail is now open, so if you are out enjoying the nice weather on foot/bike you can pop in and see us. Just head off the track at Levenmouth and follow the signs. We look forward to seeing you 🐣

Please be aware that from the 1st April to the 31st August, water access will once again be permitted at Loch Leven NNR. This includes kayaking, canoeing, swimming, paddleboarding, and any variations thereof. 🏊🚣‍♀️🛶

However, please take note of the following conditions so that people and nature can exist together:

- No landing on any of the islands as they are important breeding sites for birds. Knowingly disturbing breeding birds, their eggs and nests, is a legal offence under the Wildlife and Countryside Act (1981).
- Please keep 200 metres away from the shoreline to avoid disturbing breeding birds or young birds that may be sheltering in the vegetation.
- No launching from Findatie beach, as the surrounding area is a key location for breeding and nesting birds. Please launch from Kirkgate Park or Burleigh Sands instead.
- No launching from the Boathouse Pier as it is a working harbour used by the fishery and is therefore unsafe for other users.
- Motorised boats are not included in Scotland’s access legislation, and are therefore not permitted on Loch Leven by the public.

Loch Leven NNR is a vitally important site for breeding wildfowl and the shorelines and islands are especially important for ducks, geese and swans raising their young. Understanding and following this guidance will ensure this special place remains just that. Thank you for your continued co-operation! 😀🦆

We’ve got delicious food to enjoy in our Larder and Canopy cafe, or why not takeaway from our Greenhouse or indeed pick up a picnic from our deli to enjoy on the trail, Loch Leven’s Heritage Trail.

We have beautiful gifts and home wear, toys and books.

We have a well stocked foodhall abundant with local, seasonal food, wine and spirits from all over Scotland.

And we even have a space for the kiddies to have fun whilst you relax and enjoy some quality time together.

Loch Leven’s Larder a day destination. Smack bang in the midst of thee most beautiful countryside. Take a stroll around our wildflower meadow or visit Burley Sands. Run, walk or using a trail scooter. You’ll never be bored!
