🥾 WALKERS PARADISE 🥾

Situated in Cumbria’s Eden Valley but within the Yorkshire Dales National Park the countryside around us here at The Green Cumbria is a paradise for walkers. Classic Dales scenery and the Lake District are both a short drive away but the Eden area itself offers great walking; especially the grassy slopes of the Howgill Fells which can be accessed on foot from the front door.
With so many amazing walks on the dooorstep, where would you walk to first?

The Haystore and Byre both sleep 4 but are linked by an interconnecting door allowing a group of up to 8 guests to stay together.
And the Carthouse sleeps 6, making it perfect for family breaks. 🧡

The Green is situated in Ravenstonedale - an unspoiled and picturesque village nestled in Cumbria’s Eden Valley but within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, at the foot of the Howgill Fells.
We're perfectly placed in the beautiful Eden valley with the River Eden winding it's way past historical sites and the foot of the tranquil Howgill Fells.

And with the valleys, moors, hills and caverns of the Yorkshire Dales etched with miles and miles of rolling footpaths, there's unlimited walks for you to explore this atmospheric limestone landscape.

Our gorgeous Victorian stone barn is divided into three beautiful holiday cottages which can be hired separately or together. All 5-Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rated by Visit England and all dog friendly, each one showcases its original features and offers rustic yet luxurious self catering accommodation inspired by nature's colours and textures.

❤️ The Haystore and Byre have spectacular vaulted ceilings and tall slate fireplaces. Both sleep 4 but are linked by an interconnecting door allowing a group of up to 8 guests to stay together.

❤️ The Carthouse, with it's exposed stone walls, has a traditional layout and sleeps 6, making it perfect for family breaks.

❤️ THE CARTHOUSE ❤️

The Carthouse sleeps up to 6 guests and is perfect for larger families or friends catching up. The ground floor has a cosy living room with original stone fireplace, open plan kitchen/diner (a great place for entertaining!) and wet room.

Large French doors lead out from the kitchen to the rear grounds and the private enclosed courtyard garden, which is a perfect spot to relax and listen to Artlegarth beck trickling by.

Upstairs on the first floor there are two bedrooms, one with exposed beams, vaulted ceiling and original stone wall and master bathroom.

Another flight of stairs leads to the third bedroom in the apex of the barn, which has lovely views of Wild Boar Fell

The Carthouse contains additional facilities for the needs of guests with limited mobility, including assisted wheelchair users.
