Renovated to the highest standards the exceptional internal styling by owner Carly has been inspired by nature's textures and colours to offer a relaxed, spacious and luxurious feel throughout. ❤️ THE CARTHOUSE ❤️

The Carthouse sleeps up to 6 guests and is perfect for larger families or friends catching up. The ground floor has a cosy living room with original stone fireplace, open plan kitchen/diner (a great place for entertaining!) and wet room.

Large French doors lead out from the kitchen to the rear grounds and the private enclosed courtyard garden, which is a perfect spot to relax and listen to Artlegarth beck trickling by.

Upstairs on the first floor there are two bedrooms, one with exposed beams, vaulted ceiling and original stone wall and master bathroom.

Another flight of stairs leads to the third bedroom in the apex of the barn, which has lovely views of Wild Boar Fell

The Carthouse contains additional facilities for the needs of guests with limited mobility, including assisted wheelchair users.

🌱 The Haystore has large French doors which lead out to an elevated terrace, perfect for taking in the views and sipping wine on a balmy summer evening.
🌱 The Byre has a beautiful balcony, where you can take in the far reaching views and stone steps which lead down to an enclosed pebbled courtyard garden.
🌱 The Carthouse has a private enclosed courtyard garden, which is a perfect spot to relax and listen to Artlegarth beck trickling by.

And with the additional communal areas with picnic tables and gorgeous views to enjoy, you'll never be far from nature.

A serene space to switch off awaits you at The Byre.

Laid out on two floors, plus a cosy mezzanine level, there is plenty of space to connect with family and friends, or simply escape on your own, curl up and read a book.

The magnificent double height ceiling creates a light and airy space along with the warm neutral backdrop and quality furnishings.

French doors open from the lounge area onto a balcony,
where you can take in the far reaching views. Stone steps lead down to an enclosed pebbled courtyard garden.

The stars of the show in this rustic yet luxurious space are the vaulted ceilings and tall slate fireplace. Laid out on two floors plus cosy mezzanine, there is plenty of space to relax and unwind.

🧡 Our unique self-catering apartments are within a beautiful Victorian stone barn, divided into three beautiful dog friendly holiday cottages.

🧡 The Haystore and Byre have spectacular vaulted ceilings and tall slate fireplaces. Bedrooms are on the ground floor, kitchen/living on the first floor and beautifully presented cosy mezzanine levels. Both sleep 4 but are linked by an interconnecting door allowing a group of up to 8 guests to stay together.

🧡The Carthouse, with its exposed stone walls, has a traditional layout and sleeps 6, making it perfect for family breaks.

The whole property sleeps 14 guests enabling large groups to stay together but with the convenience of their own private areas (including their own enclosed outdoor areas)

Ideal for groups of friends, family gatherings, wedding parties, corporate events or walking groups.

⭐Our fabulous Victorian stone barn is divided into three self-contained holiday cottages which are all dog friendly and rated 5* by Visit England. ⭐Each one showcases its own original features and offers relaxed, laid back self catering accommodation inspired by nature's textures and colours.
