Cala Jewellery by Lesley Bruce Cala Contemporary Jewellery - Bespoke Handcrafted Designs by Lesley Bruce I began designing and making contemporary fashion jewellery in 2006.

After training in interior design and having watercolour painting and clothing design as leisure interests, I had my own successful business training others in colour analysis for 15 years, all of which experience I capture in the creative use of colour, texture and form in my extensive jewellery designs. I design and handcraft each piece individually using a variety of materials sourced both loca

lly and, whenever I can find the excuse, in Florence and Venice, all at irresistible prices. Only occasionally do I repeat designs, usually adding a quirk of difference to make each piece unique. Currently exhibiting in several galleries and designing for clothing ranges, I take great pleasure in creating individual pieces to compliment a client’s outfit or colouring at no extra cost, particularly enjoying bespoke wedding commissions. My work offers unique pieces and fashion jewellery designs at exceptional value, buying direct from me or at jewellery parties where I also offer free individual colour analysis advice to all guests.

I will be at The O'Shea Gallery in Newburgh from 4 'til 7 today with other artisans. It's a little gem packed with gifts and treats, original art work, pottery, textiles, wicker, and much more. There may be mulled wine and mince pies too!

This soft sheen plated hematite is such beautiful colours that I kept the design simple. Good for layering too. One of many new pieces that will be at my next event, and last pre Christmas, at Beveridge Park Bowls club on Sunday.

Last last of the 3 Christmas late night markets at Cupar Corn Exchange is on Thursday 5th December, 2 'til 8pm!
Join us for mulled wine, hot gin, and around 30 artists and makers in the hall, plus shops, cafes and bars joining us by staying open late.

A whole weekend in one of my favourite pretty harbours, Crail, this Saturday and Sunday. Lots of new pieces to show you, Christmas choirs both days, and a great selection of artisans who have been working hard to provide you with a beautiful array of art work, food and gifts. Today and tomorrow the Dundee Heritage Trust weekend Cristmas Market is at its fascinating Verdant Works museum with free entry!
There are choirs performing both days to add to the Christmas atmosphere, free demonstrations of musuem engines and an excellent cafe, as well as many artisans, crafters and food producers. I'll be in a lovely warm atrium space surrounded by huge mechanical things and great choir acoustics. Looks like a wonderful 2 days! Hope to see you.

A big event with wonderful makers and artists from far and wide.
