Cold Water Swimming Introductions

Are you curious about cold water swimming?
Do you wonder why people do it and what benefits they get from it?
Have you wanted to give it a go but been unsure how to take part safely?
If the answer is YES to any of these questions then what better way to find out by booking one of my 1-2-1 sessions.
These sessions are ideal for anyone new to cold water swimming and those who want to learn how to swim or dip in the open water safely. You will learn all about what happens to your body physically when you enter cold water, why mindset is so important in overcoming any fears around cold water and how to acclimatise to cold water and use the correct breathing techniques.
You will also learn about the many benefits of cold water and receive information on open water swimming safety.
As a qualified STA Open Water Swimming coach I offer sessions to experience the sheer joy of swimming in the beautiful lochs, rivers and the seas of SW Scotland.
My 1-2-1 sessions are relaxed with no pressure to swim stokes or distance.
• Wetsuit or swimwear and swim shoes or old shoes are required. Please bring plenty of warm clothes for afterwards, even on a hot day.
• Suitable for swimmers who are new to open water swimming.
• Duration: 1 hr (15 - 30 min approx. swim, depending on water temperature)
• £30.00 per person (over 18’s only)
